POSITION: Junior-Senior High School Principal

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Rossford Junior-Senior High School is seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader to serve as principal.
The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader dedicated to promoting a culture of academic achievement, inclusivity, and positive student development.
The principal will lead with integrity, inspire faculty and staff, serve as a role model for students, and engage with the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education Administration or a related field.
Appropriate Ohio Principal Certification/Licensure.
Proven capability in educational leadership, preferably a minimum of three years’ experience as a junior high or high school principal.
Deep understanding of educational policies, curriculum development, and instructional practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong decision-making abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate visionary leadership in the development and implementation of educational goals and initiatives while promoting a culture of academic excellence and innovation.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the junior-senior high school, including budgeting, scheduling, facilities management, supervision, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with faculty to implement curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices aligned with state standards and best educational practices.
Champion a positive and inclusive school climate that supports the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students.
Implement effective discipline policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Cultivate strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders to foster partnerships that support student success and engage the broader community in the school's mission.
Provide mentorship, support, and professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance their teaching practices and professional growth.
Ensure compliance with educational laws, district policies, and state regulations while maintaining accountability for academic standards and student achievement.
Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in the applicable job description, including other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
SALARY RANGE: Begins at $108,532
CONTRACT DETAILS: Administrative, 250 Days per Year
