Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide early intervention and support for students with special needs, including those with autism
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Provide individualized instruction and tutoring as needed
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance student engagement
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons, manage classroom materials, and keep track of student progress
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Knowledge of education administration and policies
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Familiarity with library services and resources for supporting student learning
