20, 2023 Maumee Valley Country Day School is seeking a dynamic educator who orchestrates learning for students in ways that are engaging, challenging, and relevant.
The successful candidate is a resourceful teacher who uses a range of pedagogical techniques in order to reach all learners and forge strong relationships with students and families.
The ESOL teacher is responsible for teaching and supporting our non-native English-speaking Upper School students who are still building their English language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Teach two sections of Upper School ESOL Teach, assess, adjust, re-teach, and re-assess students in order to document growth and achievement Skills: Group and Individual Instruction Cultural sensitivity Collaboration Flexibility Professionalism Works Independently with little direct supervision ground: The successful candidate has the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and ESOL certification in relevant fields is required.
Experience in teaching ESOL ground check: All Maumee Valley employees and volunteers must agree to a comprehensive background check and confidentiality agreement.
