Drivers will be transporting products and merchandise from warehouses to stores.
Pick-up and deliver backhauls following outbound store deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Clean driving record
DOT Medical card
Valid CDL A Needed
6 months of experience needed
Must be 21 years or older
Drug Test and Background screening performed
Will work all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas - (may be on the road that morning coming home but will be off)
Hazmat required within 90 days of hire
Drivers are required to work on other accounts if work is slow
HIGHLIGHTS
Drivers on this regional job will operate in MO, IL, WI, IA, IN, KY, TN, MI, CT, NJ, MD, VA, WV, OH, PA, NY and MA.
There are two schedules possible:
Schedule 1: Monday - Friday.
Normally around 0500.
Drivers will reset for 34-48 hrs per week falling sometime between Friday and Monday.
There is no guarantee that the driver will get by the house while on their route.
Driver should plan on being on the road the entire 5 days of their shift.
Nor there is no guarantee the driver will be home the night before their day off (Example: Sat off, they might get back to their domicile Sat morning, or longer depending on customer needs)
Schedule 2: Monday - Friday and Saturday or Sunday work is required on a rotating basis.
Year round rotation is once every 3 weeks.
Start times: 0200-0600 - Start time will be determined by manager after hire and will remain consistent.
Shift: 10 - 14 hours
All Trans-Load pick ups are drop and hook
Store deliveries are receiver unload or drop and hook
Pick up at vendors are shipper load or drop and hook
No touch freight
10 stops per week and 10 Loads
Average between 1800 - 2400 miles per week
