Drivers on this local job will operate in a 100-mile radius of Heavener, OK
Duties:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance
Skills:
- Experience with tractor-trailers operation
- Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
