Class A drivers be home weekends running dedicated on the biggest home buildings supply store in the world.
· Drivers run Monday – Friday with 34-48 reset over weekend.
Shift generally starts at 05.
00 and goes from 11-14 hours
· Average pay is $92,500-$105,000
· Dry van with driver no touch – about half the freight is drop n hook
· Drivers will either:
o Run DC to DC
o DC to stores
o Vendor to DC
o Under all circumstances either drop n hook or shipper/receiver live unload.
Driver does not touch freight
o Distribution centers are located in MO, IL, WI, IA, IN, KY, TN, MI, CT, NJ, MD, VA, WV, OH, MA and update NY
· Benefits start after 30 days and include medical, pto, vision and 401K
DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO GET HAZMAT WITHIN 90 DAYS OF BEING HIRED IF THEY DO NOT HAVE ALREADY.
DRIVERS ARE REIMBURSED FOR COST OF HAZMAT4
DRIVERS WHO HAVE FAILED OR A REFUSED A DOT DRUG OR ALCOHOL TEST EVER ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR HIRE
APPLICANTS MUST LIVE WITHIN 80 MILES OF FACILITY IN VAN BUREN IN ORDER TO QUALIFY.
Requirements:
- Must have 6 months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years
- No more than 3 moving violations or incidents in the last three years’
- No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years (major accident defined as over $25K in damage) with no more than one highway accident during those three year
- Can not have reckless/careless, rear end or rollover in last three years
No job hoppers (no more than 6 jobs in last 3 years) and can never have failed a DOT Drug or Alcohol test
