Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Transporter in our Radiology department.
The Radiology Transporter provides personal care and professional excellence by assuring that radiography file folders and reports are filed accurately, and records are pulled without delay for patients receiving radiology examinations.
Properly identifies and transports patients to radiology for the medical imaging examinations.
Job Duties: Properly transports patients between patient care areas and radiology department as needed.
Quickly reports any changes observed in condition or behavior of patients and unusual incidences.
Scans Pre PACS films into PACS as required.
Makes copies or CD’s of images and reports as needed.
Retrieves various documents from radiologist reading area as required.
