*Job Summary: *To provide administrative assistance to the church pastor(s), church boards, committees, and ministries; oversee day-to-day operations of the church office; oversee all church communications.
*Responsibilities:*
· Manage day-to-day operation of the church office.
· Manage website and oversee social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
· Maintain church database.
· Manage Microsoft 365 and other web-based accounts.
· Oversee preparation of weekly bank deposits; keep giving records for statements.
· Maintain communications for the church.
· Create and publish the Chimes monthly newsletter.
· Prepare weekly worship service bulletin and share with the Multimedia Coordinator.
· Serve as Financial Secretary and secretary for the Finance Team.
Attend monthly Finance Meeting and take minutes.
· Manage church calendar in Outlook.
· Create graphics/ads for sermon series, events, etc.
· Oversee coordination of building use for all events (funerals, weddings, baby showers, etc.
)
· Maintain all membership records (digital and print).
· Work cooperatively and communicate with other staff members and committees by sending reminders and information for meetings.
· Maintain records of memorials.
· Operate remote door system app.
· Maintain and operate PastorsLine (bulk text and calling communication system).
· Ongoing communication with the preschool administrator.
· Set up online Preschool registration.
*Qualifications:*
· Personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord.
· Friendly, warm, and relatable.
· Comfortable operating standard office equipment.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, etc.
).
· Working knowledge of setup and management of websites.
· Knowledge and experience in graphic design specifically Canva and/or InDesign.
· Familiarity with the use of church databases, membership, and contribution programs.
· Knowledge of church policies and procedures.
· Possession of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
· Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
· Ability and willingness to troubleshoot when issues arise.

· *Hours of employment:*
o 25 hours per week.
Requires occasional evening/weekend hours.
· *Compensation:*
o Payable on the 15th and 30th of each month, in accordance with regular payroll policies.
